On June 18, 2025, a 20-member study tour for administrative staff professional development and skill enhancement from the University of Macau visited the Shanghai Library East. The group comprises recipients of the university’s 2024 Outstanding Administrative Staff Award and members of its archival management team. Xu Qiang, Deputy Director of the Shanghai Library, extended a warm welcome to the delegation on behalf of the library.
Accompanied by Deputy Director Xu, the delegation toured key areas of the library, including the first-floor atrium, the third-floor Smart Services and Reading Plaza, the fourth-floor Genealogy Library and Manuscripts Library, the fifth-floor Music Library and Art Library, and the seventh-floor Treasured Collections Library. Xu Hong, Director of the University of Macau Library and head of the delegation, expressed thanks for the Shanghai Library’s hospitality. Both parties affirmed their commitment to deepening collaboration, building upon their longstanding friendly exchanges.
