Hainan Provincial Library to Open by the End of This Year

 
 

The Hainan Provincial Library is expected to complete its construction by late October and open to the public at the end of this year. It has by now finished the exterior decoration.

Covering an area of 25,000 square meters, the Hainan Provincial Library will serve as a modernized, multi-functional, and general-public oriented library. The new library will be a digital one°™with its holdings focused on e-books and electronic resources, and multi-media techniques widely applied, such as the more than 150 computers equipped in the reading hall which enable readers to browse and access to the library resources via the LAN and Internet.

The library will also become a place where people can relax themselves and freely interact with each other. It has also established a special reading area for the visually impaired.
