About the Forum

Shanghai Competitive Intelligence Forum (SCIF), organized by Shanghai Library (Institute of Scientific & Technical Information of Shanghai) every two year, is an international competitive intelligence event and one of the most important professional communication platforms in China.  Since 2003, SCIF has attracted participants from the United States, France, Japan, United Kingdom, India, China and other regions. A number of competitive intelligence specialists and industry experts come to the forum to discuss latest competitive intelligence theory and practice.

In the past, we’ve co-host SCIF and publish joint research results with major institutions such as MIT Technology Review, Clarivate Analytics, Japan Competitive Intelligence Society under the theme of “The Impact of Disruptive Technology”(2017), “Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Maker & Competitive Intelligence”(2015), “World Frontier Technology Trends and Industry Competitive Intelligence”(2013), “Finding Opportunity in Emerging Industries-CI during Transition Period”(2011), “IT&CI: Powerhouse of Enterprises in the Global Competition”(2003). This year, we are honored to organize the event with International Council for Scientific and Technical Information (ICSTI) and Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China (ISTIC). We hope that our joint efforts will make this conference a feast for intelligence professionals.
